Where did it all start, hmmm?  Way back in 1995, in a high-school black and white darkroom when I saw my first image magically appear in the developer.  Those chemical worn hands are now healed, but all that magic and more happens every day for me in the digital darkroom.

My passion lies in the beauty of dramatic imagery; no mater what type.  I love working with people of all forms to produce telling and glamorous portraits, but I am just as happy sitting and waiting for the perfect light to fall on the architecture or landscapes of British Columbia.

Graduating with honours from the Visual Arts program at the University-College of the Fraser Valley developed my creative mind; however, I soon yearned to master the technical side of photography.  I continued my studies at Langara College in Vancouver and apprenticed with local photographers.  The word digital was not even mentioned throughout my entire education, but soon after graduating I sold all my film equipment and jumped whole-heartedly into the digital medium.

At about this same time I met my muse, love and now wife Katherine. Her beauty inspires my every day.  We have now been together almost eight years and just married on July 21st, 2007 at Summerhill Pyramid Winery where my three assistant photographers took on the project of actually trying to make me look good; what a task!

My life passion and career is photography.  Nowadays if you drive by my studio, you will often see me editing until the wee hours of the morning.   I throw myself fully into each and every project.  I will spend as much time as is needed to get to know my clients and their needs in order to provide the most outstanding photography possible.  In the end you will not only notice that the images that I produce for you will have an amazing impact and drama, but they will reflect an element of what I have learned about you.

I have been offering workshops and private training in digital photography for the past six years.  The training I offer ranges from informing first-time users of digital cameras to training dental clinics on how to use digital cameras for intra-oral and portrait photography to the launching of professional photography studios.   I also have extensive experience in implementing solutions for file management, archiving, color management, and photography workflows.

Some people believe I have extra-sensory vision, but I assure you that I do not.
