Annick & Liam’s wedding felt like a homecoming stitched with history and roots. Annick grew up on her family’s vineyard in Naramata, and after years together in Ottawa, she brought Liam — a naval warfare officer who grew up in Nova Scotia — back to begin their new chapter among the vines.

The day opened aboard the S.S. Sicamous, a 1914 paddlewheeler that once carried passengers, freight, and mail up and down Okanagan Lake. Its sweeping double staircase and the teal Ladies’ Salon framed their first look and signing — a poetic tie between his life at sea and her deep Okanagan roots.

From there, vintage trolley cars carried guests to the vineyard, where their ceremony unfolded overlooking the rows of grapes. Every corner of the celebration carried their hands and their vision — personally labeled champagne, bouquets of wildflowers grown at home, and décor styled and set by family and friends. The result was one of the most beautifully executed DIY weddings I’ve ever photographed: thoughtful, stylish, and so deeply personal.

As the sun set, we returned to the shoreline beside the Sicamous. Smoke from the season’s only hazy week turned the horizon into molten gold, wrapping their portraits in an atmosphere that felt cinematic and fleeting.

A wedding where history, family, and craft came together seamlessly — and left a lasting glow.

Annick (from the heart of Naramata) and Liam (a proud Nova Scotian, now calling Ottawa home together) are tying the knot in the most meaningful way—surrounded by family and friends, with their ceremony at her parents’ vineyard and a vintage-inspired celebration aboard the historic S.S. Sycamuse paddle wheeler. 🌿🚢🍇

From nicknaming each other Bean to late-night concerts, camping trips, and cooking adventures, their love story has always been about joy in the little things. Liam first connected with Annick through her brother, and years later he proposed in Victoria at sunset by the Parliament bridge—such a perfect reflection of the thoughtful, adventurous love they share. 💍✨

Tomorrow is more than a wedding—it’s a celebration of two lives beautifully woven together, full of vintage charm, indie-folk vibes, and a whole lot of heart. 🎶💫

Under the soft late August light of the Okanagan, Dania & Matthew shared their first look among the rows of an apple orchard in Kelowna. The way they saw each other in that moment—completely, joyfully, without hesitation—made it clear to everyone around that this was love in its purest form.

Her family, oceans away in Pakistan, could not be here in person, but the warmth of Matthew’s family and friends wrapped around her like a second home. At Gallagher’s Golf Club, laughter carried across the hills, glasses were raised, and Dania was welcomed wholeheartedly—not as a guest, but as family.

Sometimes love writes its own geography. For Dania & Matthew, it rooted itself here, in the orchards and mountains of the Okanagan, where two hearts promised forever.

A day filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of joy you can feel long after the music fades. Surrounded by a wedding party that had their backs at every moment, and family that cheered with full hearts, they stepped into marriage with all the love in the world.

Their 4-year-old daughter stole the show as flower girl — a tiny reminder that this celebration was about more than a wedding; it was about family, future, and the everyday magic of building a life together.

Set against the backdrop of a lakefront Kelowna wedding at El Dorado Resort, their vows flowed into a celebration that carried from sunlit moments on the water to twinkle-lit embraces at dusk.

On June 28, 2025—amid golden vineyards and the shimmering expanse of Okanagan Lake—Nicole and Brendan said yes. Every moment felt like a long, soft exhale under that midsummer sky: the gentle swoosh of gowns, the golden laughter drifting across tasting-room terraces.

They stole away to the beach for a quiet sunset portrait, toes in sand and hearts alight in their own moment of stillness. Back in the vineyard, guests raised a glass as champagne sabering marked the seamless shift from cocktail hour to a night charged with heartfelt speeches and high-energy dancing under lantern-lit vines.

Set in the heart of Naramata’s vineyard charm, Kevin & Sarah’s wedding at Deep Roots Winery was the perfect blend of beauty, laughter, and love.

The day had an undeniably light-hearted energy, thanks in part to a spirited rugby team and a group of fun-loving paramedics—friends who brought contagious joy and kept the celebration lively from start to finish. It wasn’t over-the-top; just the kind of fun that made the whole day feel relaxed, real, and unforgettable.

But beyond the humor and the hilarity, it was the deep connection with family that grounded the entire celebration. Every toast, every quiet moment, every tear and smile spoke volumes about the love that surrounds these two.
